Do you fully realise WHAT a real estate agent is?
Nobody can sell real estate unless they are registered under a Queensland licensed real estate agent or are themselves the holder of a Queensland Real Estate Agent Licence.
Only a licencee is authorised to offer to anyone on behalf of another to sell, buy, exchange, let or rent any interest in property. Fines of up to $75,000 can be hasnded out by the courts for anyone selling property for another without holding such a licence.
The training of our staff has been undertaken by the Queensland Institute of Property Studies, which was (by its predecessor, Delcor Training) the first accredited real estate training organisation in the history of Queensland. The Institute, headed by Clive Williams, the principal licencee of the Harbours group of agencies, has earned a reputation mainly throughout the northern end of Queensland, with specialisations in commercial and developmental real estate training of a professional development nature.
